We’re supporting the launch of the .super.box and .chain.box subdomains, as a means of allowing users to preregister for the corresponding second-level .super and .chain domain names following the next ICANN auction.

For example, if you mint example.chain.box now, you will have the reserved right to minting example.chain once the TLD is launched — and if Optimism is successful in securing the .chain TLD in two years.
